How this site is researched and kept accurate
Every client and relay listing is verified against the live service before it ships — dead or moved endpoints are corrected or removed, and each directory entry carries a "last updated" date. Protocol claims are checked against the canonical NIPs repository, and guides are revised when the underlying specifications change (for example, the move from NIP-04 to NIP-44 encryption). Freshness is treated as a first-class signal here, not an afterthought — accuracy is the whole point of a reference site.
